Creation Station – April 2024

I’m so excited to be a part of the Creation Station Design Team! This is my first hop with this amazing team who has provided us with so much beautiful inspiration. The theme for April is “Heat Embossing”. Heat embossing is one of my favorite techniques and there isn’t a card that I make that doesn’t at least have a heat embossed sentiment.

The card I created for this hop is full of heat embossed elements. I chose to work with the Sketched Plaid Cling Stamp Set, the Enduring Beauty Photopolymer Stamp Set, and the Enduring Beauty Dies. I started by heat embossing the background piece using the Sketched Plaid Cling Stamp using black embossing powder.

The floral image from the Enduring Beauty Photopolymer Stamp Set was perfect for this project. I heat embossed the image with black embossing powder on water color paper, then used water painters to add color. I used Calypso Coral and Granny Apple Green to bring the images to life. My last heat embossed element was the sentiment.
