Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop – October 2026

Welcome to the October 2026 Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop! This month’s theme is “Sketch Challenge”. I love seeing how everyone interprets a sketch and it is always a great way to get creativity flowing. Please follow along with us as we share our creations.

I created an alternate card using the September 2026 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Aspens of Gratitude. From the kit I used a pre-printed card base, a sentiment stamp, a sentiment banner, and the gold embellishments. Other products I used are; Pecan Pie Cardstock, Early Espresso Two-Tone Cardstock, Neutral Noel Jute. My color inspiration comes from the beautiful palette used in the kit; Golden Glow, Pecan Pie, and Early Espresso.

To create my card I started with a card base featuring the Aspen trees and cut the image out (3 3/4” x 3 3/4”). Then I cut the image piece into 3/4” strips. I attached them to a Pecan Pie card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals (3 per strip). For placement, I start with adhering the two outside strips first, the center, then the remaining two. This allows me to quickly attach the strips so that the pieces have consistent spacing between the strips. The only piece I sometimes measure is the center strip. The sentiment is stamped with the kit ink spot onto the sentiment banner from kit and I trimmed it down. I took a 1/2” x 2 1/2” piece of Early Espresso and ripped the edge of one side. Then I adhered it to the sentiment piece so that the torn edge is on the bottom and trimmed any excess two-tone exceeding the sentiment piece on the other three sides. My sentiment is attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The bow is a single strand of the Early Espresso Jute adhered at the bottom, left corner of the sentiment. I finished it with a few gold embellishments.
