Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop – August 2026

Welcome to the August 2026 Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop! This month’s theme is “Rubberband Technique Challenge”. This was a new technique for me so it was a lot of fun playing with the patterns. I’m sure the rest of the team had as much fun too, please follow along with us as we share our creations.

The rubberband technique involves wrapping and twisting rubberbands around a clear block, inking up the bands and applying to paper. I first inked another clear block and mixing it with some water. Then, I inked up my bands and applied it to my paper randomly in sort of a crisscross pattern trying to simulate water.

My card features the Splash & Relax Bundle (Splash & Relax Photopolymer Stamps and coordinating dies) and the Brights Painted Patterns 12” x 12” Designer Series Paper. I used some super summery colors; Coastal Cabana, Berry Burst, Melon Mambo, Lemon Lolly, and Balmy Blue. My neutrals are Basic White, Crumb Cake, and Basic Black with Secret Sea ink used for my sentiment.
