Luv 2 Stamp Group Blog Hop – November 2023

This month’s theme is “Embossing” and today we are sharing projects using our favorite embossing techniques. My projects this month uses two different embossing techniques; dry embossing and heat embossing. My card features the Modern Garden Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder. My color pallet the is Pretty Peacock, Poppy Parade, and gold.

Paper

• 5 1/2” x 8 1/2” Pretty Peacock Cardstock scored and folded at 4 1/4” (card base)
• 3 3/4” x 5” Pretty Peacock Cardstock (card front)
• 3 1/2” x 3 1/2” Basic White Thick cardstock
• Basic White Thick Scrap

Trim

• 7” Gold Simply Elegant Trim

Instructions

• Dry emboss card front piece with the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder and adhere it to the card base
• Using the masking technique, stamp 5 large Poinsettia flowers in a circle pattern with stamped-off Poppy Parade ink onto the 3 1/2” x 3 1/2 Basic White Cardstock creating a wreath
• Using the small Poinsettia flower stamp image inside each large Poinsettia using full strength Poppy Parade
• Stamp flower centers with Versamark and heat emboss with gold embossing powder
• Fussy cut wreath and attach to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals
• Stamp sentiment using Pretty Peacock ink on the Basic White scrap and cut to desired size
• Tie gold simply elegant trim into a bow, trim ends, and adhere to the back of the sentiment
• Attach the sentiment piece to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals
• Attach Blooming Pearls
