Paper Pumpkin Alternate Project- October 2020

I absolutely loved this month’s kit! I made two projects this month (see pics below), a full sized card and a 3″ x 3″ mini card, using only minimal additional supplies. For my first card, I only added a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock and few Rhinestone Basic Jewels. The pieces of the kit I altered were the card base, the envelope, and the gold foil banner. From the card base I cut a 1 3/4″ x 5″ piece from the patterned side, then I cut a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece from the non-patterned side to attach white cardstock to the inside of the card. The envelope was dismantled and I cut a 4″ x 5 14″ piece of the pattern from the inside of the envelope. Then, I cut about 1/4″ off one end of the gold foil banner. The linen thread was tripled to make the bow a bit bolder.

For my second card, the 3″ x 3″ mini card, I added a 3″ x 6″ piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock, a smaller piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock for the heat embossed sentiment, and some Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels. I only altered the white embossed cardstock from the kit by cutting it to 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″.
