Around the World on Wednesday – September 2020

Welcome to September’s Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop! The theme this month is “Tag Team”! We have created TWO (2) coordinating projects to share. The types of projects were left to the members to decide what they would be. Every month I am in awe of the talent in this group so I can’t wait to see everyone’s posts!

A family event in August inspired my projects for the September Hop. My husband’s Niece had a baby girl in August and naturally we wanted to send something to the new parents. I created a card and a coordinating tag to attach to a pretty pink package.

For my card, I CASE’d a card from page 47 of Stampin’ Up!’s 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. However, I did change my color palette and used Whisper White, Blushing Bride, and Sahara Sand. I used a watercolor technique to add color to the Whisper White card front. To add some texture I used Embossing Paste with some Blushing Bride refill ink and the polka dot Decorative Mask. (I loved how easy it was to create this texture and I love the look!) More dimension was added in layers using stars from the Stitched Stars and Well Written Dies. My gift tag utilized the same products and techniques, but on a smaller scale. See below for a complete list of products used on my projects.
