Creation Station – August 2025
The Creation Station Design Team is hopping again today! This month we are sharing our projects with the theme, “Magical Monochrome”. Please be sure to hop through each link to see the Team’s amazing projects.
For this project I used products from the Floral Charm Suite, the Charming Day Photopolymer Stamp Set, the Charming Day Dies, the Floral Charm Designer Series Paper, and the Charming Shimmer Faceted Dots. I also used some Iridescent Faceted Gems and Linen thread. My color palette are the monochrome buddies Blackberry Bliss and Berry Burst with Basic White as my neutral.
My card includes a few coloring techniques and lots of texture. I die cut some DSP for some tone on tone texture as the first layer on my card front. The floral/leaf pieces were die cut, then colored using Blackberry Bliss and Berry Burst ink with a water painter. My mat layer has ink added with a blender brush and both water drops and ink splatter layered on top. I colored my Linen Thread with a Blackberry Bliss Stampin’ Write Marker, then separated into strands before being tied into a bow.
