Creation Station – December 2024

The Creation Station Design Team is hopping again today! This month we are sharing our Christmas Traditions. My mother was born in Bergen, Norway and traditionally would open gifts on Christmas Eve. So every Christmas Eve we would visit our grandparents and open gifts. Whatever tradition you follow, wishing you all joy and love this holiday season!

My project today features traditional holiday colors with a color pallet of rich greens and gold. I used the Season of Green & Gold 12” x 12” Designer Series as focal point of my card. The mistletoe is fussy cut and attached to a piece of Basic White cardstock with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

The sentiment comes from the Peaceful Season Photopolymer Stamp Set. It was heat embossed on Mossy Meadow cardstock with Versamark and white embossing powder, then attached to a plaid piece of designer series paper (the opposite side of the paper that was used for the mistletoe images). I also used the Gold Foil Sheets, Gold Twisted Thread and Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels. The colors featured are Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Gold, and Basic White.
