It also includes enough supplies to create eight cards and coordinating envelopes. Nature-lovers will appreciate the beauty and adventure of March’s marvelous kit. The Coordinating colors for this kit are: Bumblebee, Calypso Coral, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Pretty Peacock, Seaside Spray
March’s kit contains an exciting bonus; a set of four unique, reusable stencils and a stamping sponge!
I never seem to have enough masculine cards. This month’s kit is so well suited for creating cards that are masculine and feminine. The card I’m showcasing uses a few more supplies and tools, but is still super simple to make.
I started by getting my stamping, embossing and cutting done first. I took the kit piece with the sun and mountains and cut around the image. I embossed the image using the Tasteful Textures 3D Embossing Folder, then I cut the image using the circle die from the Stitched Shapes Dies. Next I Stamped the sentiment on Basic Black cardstock using Versamark and heat embossed it using white embossing powder. The sentiment was hand cut with the ends at a diagonal. I also stamped tree images on a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock (4/4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″). Lastly, I cut pieces from the card stock from the kit into 1/2″ x 3″ strips.
To put it altogether, I adhered the colored strips to the Crumb Cake piece. I used the linen thread from the kit and made a figure eight, attached it to the back of the circle piece with glue dots, and cut the bottom loops. The circle was attached to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I attached the sentiment using a Stampin’ Dimensional on the left and a glue dot on the right. Then, the whole card front was attached to a standard sized Crumb Cake cardstock base.
Here are some additional samples; another alternate card and two cards that were created after I used all the pieces from the original kit.
