Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop – June 2023

Welcome to the June 2023 Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop! This month’s theme is “Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge”. From the chart below, we all selected a row (vertical, horizontal or diagonal) and used those elements in our projects. Today the Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop Team will be sharing their challenge inspiration with you.

For my project, I selected the bottom row and used red, a circle, and twine. My card features the Berry Harvest and Something Fancy stamp sets and a simple color palette of Basic Black, Basic White, Crumb Cake and Real Red.

Paper:

5 1/2 ” x 8 1/2 ” piece of Basic Black cardstock, scored at 4 1/4″ (card base)
4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic Black cardstock (card front)
2 ½” x 2 ½” piece of Basic White cardstock (sentiment Piece)
4 ¼” x 5 ½” piece of Basic White cardstock (berry piece)

Ribbon/Twine:

5” piece of ribbon
14” piece of ribbon
2-14” pieces of Crumb Cake Twine

Instructions:

Fold card base at score line and burnish well with Bone Folder.
Die cut card front piece using the 3^rd largest Deckled Rectangle Die
Mix a drop of water with White Craft ink and fleck ink using paint brush onto card front (let dry)
Stamp Berry Harvest onto berry piece with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Select a couple pieces of stamped image and fussy cut them out, then color berries with the Light Real Red Stampin’ Blend
Punch circle out with the 2 ⅜ Circle Punch and stamp sentiment with Tuxedo Memento Ink
Attach 5” piece of ribbon to the card front at the ends on the back side
Adhere card front piece to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals
Adhere berry pieces to front of sentiment piece
Attach sentiment piece with Stampin’ Dimensionals
With remaining ribbon and twine, create bow using all 3 pieces and attach to card front with mini glue dots
Attached Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems
