Around the World on Wednesday – July 2024
Welcome to July’s Around the World on Wednesday (AWOW) Blog Hop! Our theme this month is a “CAS(e) Challenge”. The AWOW Blog Hop team is CAS(e)’ing each other with a special “bananas” twist. Come hop with us to see what this is all about and see all of the amazing projects created!
I was paired with Bree Renwick, whom I have had the pleasure of meeting in person earlier this year in Houston, TX. Bree and I share many things in common. We are both a parent to three children, 2024 Artisan Design Team Members, and share a love of being creative and making cards.
I chose to CAS(e) a card that Bree made featuring the Something For Everything Ephemera Pack. My card features the To Market Suite Collection; the Market Goodness Stamp Set, the Market Goodness Dies, and the To Market 12×12 Designer Series Paper. It is the third card I made using this suite. I found the vegetables so much fun and love the two-step stamping lettuce images.
Other products I used were the Deckled Rectangle Dies, the Bright Skies Dies, the Neutrals 6×6 Designer Series Paper, and Linen Thread. My color palette included Garden Green, Blackberry Bliss, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, and Balmy Blue.
A variety of techniques were used to create this card. Some of the special techniques I used were two-step stamping for the lettuce images, heat embossing my sentiment, ink blending using stencils I made with the Bright Skies Dies, and some fussy cutting.

Beautiful card! I love everyone’s explanations so much and you can see how much fun it is to think about what we share in this way to find a common creative ground. The card is superb, it’s a beautiful CAS(e) you’ve made!
Lovely CASE, Teri. I like that you’ve both used the ephemera packs and shown how well they can work with some extra bits of love added in with them.
