Luv 2 Stamp Group Blog Hop – September 2023

Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group’s 2023 Blog Hop! We are excited to share projects with you again for the third year. This year we are shaking things up and bringing you all new monthly themes to inspire your next project!

This month’s theme is “CASE the Catalog” and today we are sharing our inspiration from one of the current catalogs. My CASE comes from page 52 of the September – December 2023 Mini Catalog. It features products from the Garden Walk Suite. I used Wild Wheat, Poppy Parade, and Garden Green as my color palette.

Paper

• 4” x 8” Wild Wheat Cardstock scored and folded at 4” (card base)
• 4” x 4” Garden Walk DSP (card front piece)
• Garden Walk DSP for images
• 2” x 3” Basic White Thick Cardstock (sentiment piece)

Embellishments

• 18” Linen Thread
• 15” Linen Thread

Instructions

• Stamp flower center images on the DSP card front piece and adhere to card base
• Wrap 18” piece of Linen Thread around card front twice and tie into a square knot where the sentiment piece will cover
• Punch out sentiment piece with the Modern Oval Punch, stamp sentiment, and attach the sentiment piece to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals
• Fussy cut flower and leaf images from DSP
• Adhere flower partially to the sentiment piece, then use a Stampin’ Dimensional to attach part of the flower to the card front
• Arrange leaves behind the flower and attach with more Stampin’ Dimensionals
• Tie a double bow with the 15” piece of Linen Thread and attach it to the card front with a mini glue dot
• Attach Blooming Pearls
