Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop – October 2021

My project this month features one of my favorite colors during this time of year. I love seeing a the gold leaves of the Alder trees popping through the forest of evergreens. So, I made Bumblebee the dominant color of my card and added Basic Gray, Night of Navy, and Basic White. I mixed up the other elements of my card and used the exclusive stamp set from the Haunts & Harvest Paper Pumpkin Kit, the Well Defined Cling Stamp Set, and the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper.
I chose to make a slimline card so that I could fill up lots of space using the beautiful designer series paper and at the last minute decided to make an envelope out of the same featured paper. This color screams Autumn Alder leaves for sure. The leaves were stamped using the stamp off technique, the leaf veins were direct stamping, and then all leaves were fussy cut. I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to the DSP, leaves and sentiment for a bit of dimension. To finish off the card, white bakers twine and Matte Decorative Dots were added.
