Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop – December 2023

Welcome to the December 2023 Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop! This month’s theme is “Sounds of the Season” and today we are highlighting projects to provide holiday inspiration. Please follow along with us as we share our creations.

For my project this month I mixed a bunch of different products to create my “Sounds of the Season” card. My card features the Zany Zoo and the Merry & Bright stamp sets, the Joy of Noel Dies, and the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder. My color palette is Real Red, Garden Green, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive, Crumb Cake, Black and White.

Paper:

• 5 1/2 ” x 8 1/2 ” piece of Crumb Cake cardstock, scored and folded at 4 1/4″ (card base)
• 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of Basic White cardstock (card front piece)
• Garden Green scraps
• Basic White scraps

Linen Thread:

• 12” piece of Linen Thread
• 10” piece of gingham ribbon

Instructions:

• Dry emboss the Basic White card front piece with the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder
• Die cut sprigs from Garden Green scraps using the Joy of Noel Dies and adhere to the card front piece
• Wrap gingham ribbon around card front piece over the sprigs, tie Linen Thread bow around the end of the ribbon to hold in place, then trim ends ribbon and Line Thread.
• Attach card front to the card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals
• Stamp images on a basic white card scrap, color with Stamping Blends, cut out with a circle punch, and attach to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals
• Stamp sentiments with Real Red ink on basic card stock scraps and fussy cut to desired size
• Attach sentiments to card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and liquid glue
• Adhere Loose Silver Sequins
