Paper Pumpkin Alternate Project – February 2021
The February 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit, Bouquet of Hope, includes the exclusive Bouquet of Hope Stamp Set featuring supportive sentiments centered around comfort, care, hope, and love. It also includes enough supplies to create nine cards and coordinating envelopes. This soft, sympathetic kit includes patterned card bases, die-cut floral elements, ribbon, embellishments, and more! The Coordinating colors for this month’s kit are: Basic Black, Bumblebee, Just Jade, Merry Merlot, Mossy Meadow, Rococo Rose.
I’m so ready for spring and wanted to go with a bright, happy card. My thought is, if I make something that looks and feels like Spring then maybe Spring will come soon. My alternate Paper Pumpkin card this month is super simple and only uses a few additional supplies.
I chose a “happy” colored cardstock, Bumble Bee, as my base. From the kit I added the Bumble Bee patterned paper pieces to attach to the front of the card. I used two of the bouquet pieces, one to attach to the card front and the other one to fussy cut the larger flowers. The fussy cut pieces were attached to the bouquet image with Stampin’ Dimensionals to add some dimension. I heat embossed my sentiment with white embossing powder on Basic Black cardstock and attached it to the card front as well using Stampin’ Dimensionals. For my final element, I tied a bow with white twine near the fold towards the top of the card.
What’s Paper Pumpkin? Paper Pumpkin is a monthly crafting subscription. The box you receive each month contains all the materials you need to craft with ease, from adhesive to precut paper. All you need to do is follow the crafting instructions and assemble the pieces to create a Stampin’ Up! card or project.
This subscription box also doubles as a STAMP subscription box. Every month, as part of your subscription, you’ll receive a unique, decorative stamp set and at least one ink spot. The stamp sets are ideal for all types of crafting projects. Plus, Paper Pumpkin doesn’t repeat an ink color in a 12-month period, so you’ll quickly collect a variety of reusable stamps and ink spots.
Want to join the fun? You can subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me at: https://www.paperpumpkin.com/en-us/sign-up/?demoid=2204514. In addition to the subscription, you receive an invite to my Paper Pumpkin Private Facebook group.
