Luv 2 Stamp Group Blog Hop – March 2022

Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group’s 2022 Blog Hop! We are excited to share projects with you this year and hope to inspire you to create beautiful new projects. Each month we will have a different theme based on the next month’s celebrations using Stampin’ Up! products.

My Card this month features the Easter Friends Cling Stamp Set. Other products featured are the Boughs Punch and the Flowering Fields DSP. My color palette is Basic White, Basic Black, Petal Pink, Gray Granite, Evening Evergreen, Old Olive, and Pear Pizzazz.

The prep: I started by punching a bunch of boughs from the Flowering Fields DSP and 5 stemmed flowers in Petal Pink from the Boughs Punch. I stamped the rabbit with Gray Granite ink on a piece of Basic White cardstock and fussy cut around the rabbit. Then I dry embossed a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. My sentiment was heat embossed on Basic Black card stock using Versamark and white embossing powder and cut to my desired size. I also attached a faux white twine bow to the back of the sentiment piece.

Putting it all together: First, I attached the dry embossed piece to a standard sized Basic White card base. Then I arranged and attached the boughs and stemmed flowers to the front of the card. The rabbit and the sentiment piece were attached using Stampin’ Dimensionals. The polished dots were added last to complete the card.
