Today we are sharing inspiration using amazing new products! This month I created a card using new products from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog featuring the Fragrant Flowers Photopolymer Stamps and the Favored Flowers 12×12 Designers Series Paper (DSP) from the 5 January – 28 February 2023 SALE-a-bration Catalog. My color palette is Fresh Freesia, Blackberry Bliss, and Basic White.
Paper Supplies:
- 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock, scored and folded at 4 1/4″ (card base)
- 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ piece of Fresh Freesia cardstock (card front)
- 3″ x 3″ piece of Basic White cardstock
- 1″ x 3″ piece of Fragrant Flowers DSP
- Cardstock scrap of Blackberry Bliss
The prep: I started by stamping the large floral image using Fresh Freesia ink on the card front piece and the Basic White cardstock piece. Then, I stamped the “Hello” on the Basic White cardstock piece over the floral image using Blackberry Bliss ink. On a scrap piece of Blackberry Bliss I heat embossed “Friend” using Versamark and white embossing powder and trimmed the sentiment to my desired size. Finally I die cut a scalloped edge from the DSP using the Scalloped Contours dies and die cut the “Hello” sentiment circle using the Layering Circle Dies.
Putting it all together: I attached the DSP piece to the card front and the “Friend” sentiment to the circle piece using piece using Mutli-purpose Liquid Glue. I separated the threads of the 3/16″ Iridescent Trim and created a nest that I attached to the back of the circle piece with a bit of Stampin’ Seal. Using a Fresh Freesia Stampin’ Write marker, I flecked ink onto the card front piece. Then I attached the sentiment piece to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals and the card front piece was attached to the card base using more Stampin’ Dimensionals. Lastly, I attached a few 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds in Fresh Freesia and roughed up a few edges of the card front.
