Creation Station – November 2025
The Creation Station Design Team is hopping again today! This month we are sharing our projects with the theme, “A Touch of Nature”. Please be sure to hop through each link to see the Team’s amazing projects.
This month’s project features products from the Gather Together Suite Collection; Gather Together Specialty Designer Series Paper, Gathering Moments Cling Stamps, Gathering Moments Dies, and Early Espresso & Old Olive Linen Thread. Other products I used are the White 1/4” Ribbon and the Holographic Resin Dots. My color palette includes Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler, and Lost Lagoon.
I used a couple coloring techniques to create my background and leaves. The background on the mat layer was made by “smooshing” a piece of Basic White Thick cardstock onto a clear block with watered down Lost Lagoon Ink, then I added flecks of Lost Lagoon ink from a Stampin’ Write Marker. To make the leaves, I inked the image with the lightest color first and then adding the darker color with a sponge dauber before stamping onto Basic White cardstock.
The envelopes were handmade using the beautiful Specialty DSP. First cut a piece of DSP at 4-1/2” x 7”, then score as follows: score on long side: 1”, 4-1/4”, score on short side: 1/2”, 4”, cut out scored sections on all corners. Use a corner rounder on all corners or cut 1/4” to inside corner angles on flap and 1/2” to inside corner angles on the top of the inside flaps that will be tucked in and covered by envelope front piece.
