Creation Station – March 2025

The Creation Station Design Team is hopping again today! This month we are sharing our projects using three colors only; Black, White, and our choice of a pop of color. Please be sure to hop through each link to see the Team’s amazing projects.

My cards feature products from the Botanical Textures Suite Collection; Textured Notes Cling Stamp Set, Textures Notes Dies, Botanical Textures Designer Series Paper, Mini Corrugated 3D Embossing Folder, and Neutral Matte Dots. In addition to these products, I added some Linen Thread. The color pallet of Basic Black and Basic White was the challenge and my pop of color comes from Granny Apple Green.

From a single Basic Black cardfront piece I die cut a rectangle, then used both pieces to create two cards. I dry embossed the Basic Black piece with the negative rectangle for the first card and used the rectangle piece over DSP for the second card. Both the negative rectangle space and die cut rectangle were splattered with ink of the opposite color. I’m not sure which card I like better.
