Creation Station – June 2024

The Creation Station Design Team is hopping again today! The theme for June is “In Color + Core Color”. We are sharing inspiration with you using the new In Color of our choice + our choice of a core color and our choice of neutrals. I’m excited to see what color combinations the Creation Station Design Team came up with for today’s hop.

For today’s project my new In Color choice is Pretty In Pink and my core color choice is Berry Burst. I also used Basic White and Basic Gray as my neutral colors. My card features the Country Birdhouse Bundle and a couple of techniques using adhesive sheets. The first was to use attach a piece of an adhesive sheet to a piece of Basic White cardstock and die cut flower and leaf pieces to create a faux embossing. Then I used a 1 inch strip of adhesive sheet to attach to my card front and adhered many die cut flowers to it. Thanks to the super talented Jenni Pauli @paulinespapier for the inspiration!

Other products used on my project are the 2024-2026 Designer Series Paper, White Twine, and the Iridescent Faceted Gems. While the die cutting with the Country Birdhouse Dies took a long time, I think the end result was totally worth it!
