Around the World on Wednesday – October 2023

Welcome to October’s Around the World on Wednesday (AWOW) Blog Hop! Our theme for October is “Sketch Challenge”. The AWOW Blog Hop team has come up with some amazing projects with their interpretation of this theme!

For this month’s theme I wanted to create something that requires minimal product purchase and is quick and simple. Memories and More Card Packs and Memories and More Cards and Envelopes make creating cards a breeze with minimal cost. Here is the sketch we are challenged with:

For my project, I simplified and created a loose interpretation of the sketch. My card features the Beary Christmas Memories and More Card Pack, the Beary Christmas Cards and envelopes, and the Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins from the 2023 September – December Mini Catalog.

Paper:

• 1 card from the Memories & More Cards & Envelopes (card base)
• 2 – 3 3/4” x 5 3/4” cut from a second card from the Memories & More Cards & Envelopes (card front piece & inside card piece)
• Select stickers from the sticker sheets in the Memories & More Card Pack

Instructions:

• Fold the card base in half at the score line with the white side on the outside and the colored side on the inside.
• Attach a 3 3/4” x 5 3/4” piece cut from the second card from Memories & More Cards & Envelopes to the card base with the colored side facing up using Stamping Dimensionals.
• Adhere the second 3 3/4” x 5 3/4” piece cut from the second card from Memories & More Cards & Envelopes to the inside of the card with the white side facing up.
• Layer stickers together (see pic) to get a single piece, then add Stampin’ Dimensionals and attach to the card front.
• Attach Adhesive-Backed Glitter Sequins
