Luv 2 Stamp Group Blog Hop – September 2021

Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group’s 2021 Blog Hop! We are excited to share projects with you this year and hope to inspire you to create beautiful new projects. Each month we will have a different theme based on the next month’s celebrations using Stampin’ Up! products.

Its so amazing that it is almost October! For Halloween, I normally like to make treat boxes or bags and fill them full of goodies. My projects this month include both a gift bag and a card. My card was created using a variety of products that aren’t specifically for Halloween. My projects feature three stamp sets; Evergreen Elegance, To The Moon, and Sparkle of the Season. They also feature some dies (Layering Circles, Tailor Made Tags, and Seasonal Swirls) and a couple different Designer Series Paper packs (Cute Halloween and Beautifully Penned). My color palette is Basic Black, Basic Gray, Crushed Curry and white.

I used a couple of fun techniques on this card. The trees were stamped using the “stamp off” technique to give them some dimension. For some added texture to the front, I flecked a little Wink of Stella to the card front. The moon was stamped onto the Crushed Curry cardstock using Versamark to give it a little visual texture. Then, I pulled apart some black Bakers Twine to give the bow a little frazzled look. This was also done for the bow on the tag.

The gift bag was super simple! This bag was featured in a recent Luv 2 Stamp Group event based on the instructions located at Pootles Fat Bottomed Bags.
