Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop – August 2021

Welcome to the August 2021 Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop! Don’t you just love a good font? This month’s theme is all about fonts and texture. We were challenged to create projects that may involve new or favorite go-to techniques. Join us to see the amazing projects that were made with this theme.

This month I created another Christmas card, however I skipped the normal, beautiful holiday imagery. I used 5 different holiday stamp sets from both the annual and new mini catalogs and kept my colors simple using Basic White, Silver, Evening Evergreen, Garden Green, and Pear Pizazz.

The big, bold sentiments in various fonts and pops of greens are the focus of the card. I added texture by embossing vellum with the Merry Melody 3D embossing folder and adding a silver pinecone, a white twine bow, and Subtle Shimmer Sequins. Even without traditional holiday images, I think it still feels festive.
